4-H Shooting Sports

Are you interested in teaching youth about shooting sports? The Spring 2020 North Carolina 4-H Shooting Sports State Instructor Workshop is scheduled for March 13-15, 2020, and will be held at the Millstone 4-H Camp in Ellerbe, NC.

Nationally certified 4-H Shooting  Sports instructors from our state will direct the learning experiences. Participants must be at least 21 years old and MUST be registered as a 4-H volunteer in their county which includes enrollment through 4HOnline and an NC State University background check. There are opportunities for teen leaders as well. Participants will be selected through an application process. No more than 15 participants will be selected in the disciplines of rifle, shotgun, archery, muzzleloading and hunting. The cost for the weekend workshop is $125 per person. (A certified instructor is required for a 4-H club and youth to participate in this program.)
