Our local green industry in Buncombe County includes services in residential/commercial capacities including landscaping, hardscaping, arboriculture, and many horticultural practices. Being properly trained and then maintaining one's certifications and licenses is a great way that green industry professionals can increase their chances of getting and retaining jobs or customers. Our N.C. Cooperative Extension training opportunities have the uniqueness of all being research-based and on the cutting edge. We strive to bring the same level of education that our campus partner, NC State University, is known for; to you at the local level.
Check out our most current classes tailored for green industry professionals and sign up for those that you need. If you require something that we aren't currently offering, please let us know by emailing our coordinator Luke Owen at lcowen@ncsu.edu or calling 828-255-5522 and we'll either assist with matching you to a specific class or work on developing a training opportunity to meet your needs.
