9 a.m. to 3 p.m. | Rain or Shine!

The five gardens on this year’s tour are spread throughout Asheville and cannot be readily viewed from the street. See how each garden uses different and creative ways to showcase a variety of native and specimen plants, solve steep slope and water problems, grow veggies, integrate art into the landscape, attract pollinators, and invite peaceful contemplation.

PURCHASE TICKETS

Tickets for this self-guided tour are $20. Advance tickets are available beginning April 15 at the N.C. Cooperative Extension of Buncombe County office, 49 Mt. Carmel Road, Asheville, NC, at selected Master Gardener℠ volunteer events in April and May, and online from April 15 to May 31. Purchase Garden Tour tickets online.

Day-of-tour tickets may be purchased at the tour start point: the Asheville Visitor Center, 36 Montford Avenue, Asheville, N.C.

Proceeds support Master Gardener℠ volunteer programs
Garden tours raise money to support our programs, with emphasis on our School Garden Grants program. Since our first tour in 2007, we have given over $40,000 in grants to more than 50 schools, allowing thousands of Buncombe County children to become involved in healthy, outdoor activity. They are our future gardeners!

To learn more about the tour read a brief description of each garden.
