Homeschool families in Buncombe County are invited to participate in this four week, hands-on, educational program where youth will learn about poultry life cycles - from egg to chick! In this program, youth will incubate chicken eggs and learn about the 21 day life cycle. Throughout this program, youth will learn about chick development, parts of an egg, careers in the poultry industry, chicken breeds and more.
Meeting Dates: 9/23, 9/29, 10/6 & 10/13
All meetings will take place at 2:00pm at the Buncombe County Extension Office. Parents are required to stay with youth during all meetings.
Open to youth ages 5-18, youth must be a 4-H member to participate.
