Attention 4-H Horse Project Members
All youth interested in showing in 4-H Qualifying Shows or the NC 4-H State Horse Show MUST complete a 2021 Eligibility Card which must be on file in the county N.C. Cooperative Extension office and ALSO be with the 4-H member at all 4-H Horse shows. The eligibility card procedure will be the same as in 2019 and 2020. Read below for a summary of the steps that need to be followed.
There is not a specific deadline for the completion of the request form. However, youth need to be sure to have all paperwork (including eligibility cards) completed in time to meet entry deadlines for their selected qualifying show. As soon as qualifying show packets are shared with the Equine Husbandry department they will be available to view online.

- West: May 1-2, Arden, NC
- East: May 1-2, Williamston, NC
- South: May 14-16, Lake Waccamaw, NC
- North: May 21-23, Raleigh, NC
The 2021 NC 4-H State Horse Show is July 7–11, Raleigh, NC.
