Union County 4-H is an innovator in developing youth leadership and decision-making skills to prepare young people for the future. Leadership and personal development programs engage youth in programs, organizations, and communities where they share a voice, influence, and decision-making skills. These young people who participate in the program are more equip in leadership development, communication, and confidence skills for them to be positive and productive leaders of today and tomorrow. Young people (ages 5-18 year old) can participate in these different projects through clubs, projects, and additional opportunities.

Hope Homeschoolers 4-H Club

The Hope Homeschoolers 4-H Club is a homeschool club for children between the ages of 5 to 18 years old. They focus on various topics each month that allows the club members to gain decision-making, public speaking, and mastery skills.

Phoenix 4-H Club is a homeschool club for the children (ages 5-18) focused on various topics each month that allows the club members to gain decision making, public speaking, and mastery skills. This club is an extension of their homeschool co-op that meets during their homeschool year.

Union County Teen Council is a teen-led 4-H club that meets once a month on Thursday evenings. These teenagers who participate in the 4-H club plan social and community service activities available to all members of Union County 4-H. They also assist with Union County 4-H programs including Achievement Night, 4-H Expo as well as serve as ambassadors at various events and programs put on by the Union County 4-H and/or Cooperative Extension. Members of the Union County Teen Council also learn about leadership, civic engagement, and personal development. **Currently accepting new members**
