Noon–1 p.m.: History panel discussion featuring:
- Elizabeth Engelhardt, Senior Associate Dean for Fine Arts & Humanities, UNC-Chapel Hill, author of Canning Tomatoes, Growing "Better and More Perfect Women": The Girls' Tomato Club Movement
- Netta Cox, Agricultural Liason, Librarian and Associate Professor, North Carolina A&T State University

- Michael Yoder, Assoc. Director & State Program Leader, NC 4-H Youth Development
1–3 p.m.: Help us transcribe the digitized tomato club booklets with support from Special Collections librarians and Maggie Simon, Associate Professor of English, NC State. In this portion of the program, we'll give you a firsthand look at these materials and invite you to help us make these materials more accessible to researchers by transcribing the handwritten booklets into searchable text. No previous experience necessary; drop-ins and all ages welcome. Participants will receive virtual transcription setup instructions prior to the event.
