Horse Clinic

Buncombe, Henderson and Transylvania Counties are excited to announce a fun opportunity for horse lovers this fall - the 4-H Unmounted Horse Clinic! Whether you are a horseless horseman, a weekend rider, or an aspiring equine professional this clinic is for you! Join us for a day of hands-on fun and learn more about different unmounted equine contests in 4-H.

The 4-H Unmounted Horse Clinic will introduce youth to three exciting 4-H horse educational competitions: Horse Judging, Horse Bowl, and Hippology. Each competition offers a different way for 4-H members to expand their knowledge of horses while developing valuable skills in the equine industry. Whether a youth owns a horse, is just beginning to learn about horses, or wants to compete on a 4-H educational team, the goal of this clinic is to support 4-H Horse Clubs, horse projects, riding and showing experiences, record books, presentations, and future competitions.

This clinic is designed for beginners and youth DO NOT have to own a horse to participate!
