Join us for an interest meeting for the 2025 Buncombe & Henderson County Livestock Judging Program! This meeting is for both adults and youth interested in learning more about the program and planning to participate in 2025.

What do youth do in the Livestock Judging Program?

Livestock Judging: Livestock judging is a process of evaluating, selecting, placing, and learning about the various livestock species–beef cattle, sheep, goats and swine.

Skillathon: Identification, evaluation and judging of tools, feeds, breeds, meats, hay and wool of various livestock species–beef cattle, sheep, goats and swine.

Quizbowl: Game show style competition to test general livestock knowledge of beef cattle, sheep, goats and swine
