Description: This class will cover a of the basics of soil testing and understanding the results. We will look at soil tests for nutrition analysis as well as for drainage purposes. Issues related to grading and drainage, conducting a perk test, and reading a topographic map will be reviewed. Various teaching techniques will be used in the class and resources or sources of resources will be provided.
