NC State University Industrial Hemp Field Day

If you weren’t able to attend our Hops and Hemp Field Day on August 5 in Mills River, there is another opportunity for you to see NC State University research on hemp and to visit with the faculty, growers, and industry representatives.

NC State University specialists, N.C. Department of Agriculture & Consumer Services specialists, and graduate students will present the following research trials/demonstrations:

  • CBD Hemp Variety Test
  • Industrial Hemp Nutrition
  • Planting Date x Harvest Date
  • Open vs Closed Bed Production systems
  • Irrigated vs Non-irrigated hemp
  • Pest and Disease Scouting

Location: Piedmont Research Station, 8350 Sherrills Ford Road, Salisbury, NC, 28147

Morning Tour: 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Afternoon Tour: 1:30 to 5:30 p.m.*
* If you are an attendee, please only register for one of the two time slots. The same research will be presented during both events.

The event is free but registration is highly recommended. If you are a vendor registration is $150, and please RSVP by August 21, 2019.
