WNC Industrial Hemp Informational Meeting, Feb. 8th

— Written By

Many people are curious about growing industrial hemp in North Carolina. With the 2017 growing season completed, there are opportunities to share lessons learned and prepare for the season ahead. NCSU will host an Informational Meeting at the Mountain Horticultural Crops Research and Extension Center in Mills River on Thursday, February 8th from 1pm – 5pm. This will be an opportunity for you to meet Emily Febles, the NC Industrial Hemp Program manager, researchers and extension personnel working with industrial hemp, established and new growers, and companies interested in having farmers produce for or with them. This is a free event, but RSVP is requested: Margaret_bloomquist@ncsu.edu
